The vision of the Creative Peace Mural Society is to create a deeper understanding of
who people are, how they live, how their cultures and values influence their lives on different continents of the world.
The Creative Peace Mural Society is working toward an International Exhibition and Global Celebration of cultures, once the 10 murals are complete.
The first two murals, from Victoria and Ballymena, were invited to be displayed at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
This was in recognition of the contribution which the project had made to the advancement of international understanding.
On 16th June, 2005, the mural which had been produced in Mex, Switzerland,
was on display and honoured at Government House in Victoria, B.C., Canada.
Since then the Swiss mural has been on exhibition at Commonwealth Place,
Oak Bay Library, and R.B.C. Royal Bank, Oak Bay, B.C. Canada. The image of the
Swiss mural was used by the Royal Bank of Canada (Vancouver Island) for the 2005 corporate Christmas card.
The Creative Peace Mural Society is committed to seeking opportunities to exhibit each of the murals at various events and locations.
