Celebrating each community and the creation of each community mural is an integral element of the Creative Peace Mural project.
Celebrating who we are is a very important part of life. At the end of the three week creation process a local
celebration will be held and showcase the cultural excellence of local groups and individuals.
This event will require liaison with local civic representatives and government agencies
as well as with local schools and performing arts groups.
The logistical and administrative arrangements will be the responsibility of the
local organising committee but advice and guidance will be provided, if needed, by the
Creative Peace Mural Society regarding the most appropriate format.
At each of the locations where a mural has already been produced a local celebration event has been held.
